This Snells Beach holiday home is only one hour's road trip from Auckland through the Johnstone Hill Tunnel, which makes it a convenient base to use for exploring the many attractions that the Mahurangi area has to offer - this Snells Beach accommodation is a comfortable double storey family home with lovely views across the bay to Kawau Island...

On the upper level of Nana's House is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with two double bedrooms off the living area. There is also a bathroom with handbasin, shower and toilet located on this level. Additionally, there is a sundeck along the front of the house looking towards the sea... An ideal place to have morning and afternoon teas, pre-dinner drinks, or to just relax and enjoy the scenery!

Between the two levels, located near the entrance way is a second bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine and tub - plenty of space and privacy for the whole group!

On the lower level you will find a large rumpus room with loads of space - this room is well equipped with games, jigsaws and plenty of books for use on those indoor days! Two double bedrooms open from this room.

A lawn to the front and rear of the house means there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors - a great addition for friends and family to gather and play a friendly game of your favourite summer sport!

Plus... The beach is just one minutes stroll from the house via the adjacent walkway!! A children's playground that can be seen from the house is situated on a beach front reserve, and if you enjoy fishing or water sports one of several boat ramps that serve the area are close by. Make the most of the paved walkway the full length of the beach for some gentle and enjoyable exercise!

The local Mahurangi shops at Snells Beach include a bakery, grocery store, dentist, The Warehouse and several eating places; the Warkworth shops are plentiful and adequate for all your needs...

It is well worth spending time in the Matakana district. Here you are free to browse the farmers markets, cinemas, cafes, the famous Morris and James pottery factory as well as many nearby vineyards for wine tasting or dining!!

Visit the marine park at Goat Island, and Sandspit where a local ferry takes you to Kawau Island to visit the historical Mansion House... Plus, the Scandrett and Tawharanui ARC parks are close by too.

There are plenty of opportunities for great surf, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, boating, walking and picnics all within easy access.
