This waterfront 3 bedroom beach house is a gorgeous holiday home located in Beachlands, a seaside suburb in the Eastern area of greater Auckland. The house opens out onto extensive decks to maximise the views along the coast and out across the Gulf to nearby to Waiheke Island


This holiday home includes one queen and one double bedroom. There are also two single beds available if you want to bring two extra people, at a charge of $15.00 extra per night, per person.

The home is very private, north facing with all day sun! Warm and cosy in winter with its new heat pump. Open plan kitchen dining & lounge areas make for easy entertaining. The beach and fishing rock are only a few steps away via the garden path, which leads you to the waters edge of secluded Pohutukawa Bay. This picturesque beach is only shared with a handful of others, and is not readily accessible to the public. Large beautiful pohutukawa trees drape down to the waters edge, and flower vibrant red in summer. Be careful with children as there is no fence between house front & sea, and no fence between house and back road.

All the bedrooms open directly onto the sunny decks and are a generous size with built in cupboards. The garage is suitable for safe storage of bikes, kayaks, prams etc., but too"cute" for cars.

Beachlands is serviced by ferries to central Auckland (see below). Bus services connect it to Botany and Howick. Local shuttles are available (on request) for the Auckland airport and elsewhere - not included in tariff.

Only a few minutes walk away is the larger Sunkist Bay beach and promenade, with picnic areas, childrens adventure playground, fishing jetty and boatramp. The area is perfect for all kayaking activities.

Beachlands Village with its supermarket, restaurant, cafes, bakery and shops is just a 4 mins stroll away.

Ferries to/from Beachlands - Pine Harbour to Central Auckland. Take a spectacular 35 minute journey past the Gulf Islands and beaches. Just check out the Pine Harbour website!

Pine Harbour Marina is an 8 minutes drive, on the way passing Formosa Golf Course and restaurant. Alternatively take your bike or a 25 minute walk along the coastal path. This lovely yacht and boat marina area also has a pub, bar/restaurant, marine shop, hairdressing salon and Saturday markets. The adjoining beach is popular for Kite Surfing.

For longer excursions, you can bike or walk along the dedicated trail that meanders south along the coast passing Te Puru gym, courts and sports facilities, onward through Omana Regional Park to Maraetai. Maraetai beach has several restaurants, a boat club, ramp and fishing jetty.
