Lake edge, Lake Rotoiti with beach and jetty. The Shack is an original 1920's Kauri fishing bach. Retaining it's unique character, small touches like underfloor heated bathroom, quality chattels make staying more comfortable.

Summer sleep on the balcony with the windows folded back, kayak the lake edge to the store or relax on the beach while your children play on the beach or master the rowboat.

Winter, laze on the balcony bed, read beside the open fire, enjoy a hot pool (across the lake by boat) or swim in the soda springs (an 8 min drive).

Some care needed with small children due to being lake front and like many Rotoiti houses on the state Highway (there will be rumbles from logging trucks early some weekday mornings). The house is fully fenced from the road and the balcony has a 'stable' door designed to assist to keep our own small children/toddlers in.

Living area with open fire opens onto the balcony room with bifolding windows over the lake. The 3 bedrooms are small but well appointed with quality duvets, bedside lamps, electric blankets etc. The balcony bed is sought after on starlit winter and summer nights. Original kitchen has mostly new appliances (no dishwasher). Separate laundry, toilet, shower.
