Tarawera Home was built by the local builder in 1972 as his family home and has many great features built in. All the rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone. You get lovely lake and Mount Tarawera views from most rooms.

The master bedroom has an ensuite and heaps of storage.

The large living area at this Lake Tarawera accommodations is separate from the kitchen / dining room and has a big open fire, TV, and DVD ready, and lots of books and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven big enough for a Christmas turkey. A gas hob and microwave compliments the 2 outside barbecues.

There are large outdoor decks, one facing the lake and a private suntrap at the rear of the property. There is plenty of parking with a flat lawn area for boats and “boys’ toys”.

This home will sleep a maximum of 10 people, however the additional people would have to be children under 18 years old.
The 2nd bedroom has a sleeping area in the loft which has 2 x 3/4 size beds which is ideal for children between 6-12 years old. This home also offers a basement with a seperate toilet, with a set of single bunk beds which is an ideal retreat for teenagers. (this area has no natural daylight).
