Shepherd's Rest is a 5 bedroom Kuratau holiday home sleeping up to 10 that's designed to accommodate all the family and capture the view over Lake Taupo. Situated just minutes from either Kuratau or Omori boat ramps, Shepherd's Rest is surrounded by lovely beach areas and fantastic fly fishing spots within walking distance of the house.
Around the corner from this Kuratau holiday home is the new community hall (which caters for craft and other occasions), a play area, two tennis courts and a large domain. Turangi golf club is only 15 minutes from the house. There is a lovely cafe around the corner which is even open during holidays! The area is full of great places to walk. Furthermore, Tokaanu hot pools are only a 10 minute drive away. The Turangi shopping centre is nearby, and there you can find a supermarket and plenty of good restaurants.
Shepherd's Rest frequently features the tranquil chorus of the all stars of New Zealand's native birds, including the Bellbird, Tui, and other assorted friends. The house is set back from the road, meaning that it is isolated from noise and offers a wonderful sense of seclusion.
There's lots of space at Shepherd's Bush, so there's plenty of room for a family (or families!) getaway. Here you can find, three bedrooms with queen sized beds, three with singles, and a final one with a double bedroom. You'll never be without things to do, as the living area is nice and spacious and has a TV, DVD, beer fridge, pool table, and an area for jigsaws. In the kitchen there's a fridge/freezer, microwave, and an oven.
This Kuratau accommodation features deck chairs, outside table, and a BBQ. Shepherd's Bush is incredibly comfortable for all concerned. There's electric blankets for when it gets cold, a washing machine so you'll never be without clean clothes, and plenty of heating for those cooler nights.
