Handy Holiday Haven is a tidy 3 bedroom Central Taupo holiday home ideally situated for a great holiday in Taupo, and especially if you have children or pets.

The main lake front is 3 minutes walk around the block and it is a 6 minute walk to the social and shopping centre of town. There are many activities close by to this Taupo holiday home, and after enjoying Taupo's restaurants/nightlife you can just stroll home.

If staying in there is a barbeque and you can watch TV, a DVD or video. As well as an electronic keyboard to play, there is also a Windows 98 computer for children's games.

The kitchen with pantry at this Central Taupo holiday home is well equipped with good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, slow cooker and a sandwich grill. The lounge is comfortable and open plan, and there is a heat pump, as well as a portable gas fire.

The three double bedrooms, all with heaters, have a queen, a double and 2 king single beds respectively, with a sofa bed in the lounge, and single foldout bed stored in the garage. There is more room in the carpeted internal double garage with two bunks (no pillows or duvets though) if necessary. The bathroom has both a deep bath and shower. There is a separate toilet. The house is wheelchair friendly. There are two bikes (adult and child) available and three canoes with life-jackets (two single kayaks, one sit-on-top 2.5 seater) which can be carried or wheeled to the lake.

This rear sub-division section is fully fenced and gated so is ideal for dogs or toddlers to run around. Two vehicles can be parked within the gate and the driveway allows the boat to be parked off the street at this Taupo accommodation. One of Taupo's best restaurants is on the corner and around the opposite corner is a small shopping complex, including a Four Square and cafe. Across the large grass reserve (ideal for kites and sports) is mini-golf, Segway, the hole-in-one challenge and parasailing in summer.
