This Ohakune holiday home is located one block from the main commercial area of Ohakune yet has its own alpine setting complete with its own mountain stream and comprehensive views of the mountain for checking out the weather conditions. This chalet is on 3 levels and includes 2 queen bedrooms, and bunk-room for 6.


Amenities include 2 bathrooms, large drying room, main lounge, large flat screen TV in second lounge (with Sky TV and DVD player), stainless kitchen and separate loft play area for kids. Heating is via the new Mitsubishi hyper-cool heat pump system which keeps the house cosy on the coldest days. Wireless boradband (free up to 150mb per day). The main lounge/dining area has a mountain-lodge feel to it with schist fireplace (and this is the open crackling wood fire type NOT a closed up stove type effort!). Lounge has a Bose stereo system for plugging in your i-Pod.

The bunk room is on the main level, with the two queen bedrooms on the second level near the TV lounge. There is a cupboard in the hallway next to the bedroom for all your clothes! Upstairs is the kids loft play area.

Ideally suited for 1-2 families or 2-4 couples. Maximum 8 adults or up to 10 if at least 2 are children less than 14 years of age.
