The Retreat is nestled in one of the Coromandel's most idyllic bays. This two storied 4 bedroom Front Beach holiday home was built on the 70's and has undergone constant renovation designed to create a warm comfortable environment for a quiet getaway through to the full family onslaught, be it at the height of summer to the depths of winter.

From the open plan kitchen and living area you can look up into regenerating bush replanted with natives that include Rimu, Kauri and Totara set between ferns and other native fauna. This continues right up into the reserve behind this Front Beach holiday house.

From the two master bedrooms and the living area you have an unobstructed view of many islands that dot the bay, and to your right the impressive Shakespeare's Reserve Reserve that shelters the boats moored at Flaxmill Bay, a five minute walk from the house.

Front Beach is only a minute walk from the house and is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, water sports and is considered a safe beach for children. For the very young, Flaxmill Bay is recommended.
