This three and a half bedroom three level holiday home with stunning views out to Great Mercury, Cuvier and the Great Barrier Islands is situated on the hill above the northern most end of Kuaotunu West.
It is about 3 minutes down to the beach but may be a bit longer coming back up.
It is designed with family holidays in mind through all seasons. Sleeps 7 (ideally 4 adults and 3 children).
All the bedrooms have fabulous views and doors opening onto the upper deck. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a King size bed, drawers, a small desk and wardrobe.
The second bedroom has one single bed, and a double pull out futon type with a single bunk above, a wardrobe and a table.
The third bedroom has a queen size bed and wardrobe and the fourth bedroom is small with a built in bed, which is full length but a little narrow at one end.
All beds have duvets, and all rooms have fabric curtains. Also on this floor is the main bathroom with a moulded shower and vanity unit although the water pressure isn’t as good as downstairs. There is also a separate toilet on the top level.
The living area is all open plan with kitchen at the back, dining and lounge at the front, all with fabulous views. The front entrance is via a large ranchslider off the side deck. The front deck is great for BBQ’s because of its vicinity to the kitchen. The back entrance is via the laundry.
The lounge is furnished with a 3 seater couch and a cane 3 seater and 2 cane armchairs, coffee table, 2 side wooden tables and a 21” TV (channels 1/2/3), mini system stereo with CD/Cassette player. The dining area has a wooden table which extends to seat 6 or 8 with 4 wooden chairs and 4 canvas chairs. These areas are carpeted and have fabric drapes.
The kitchen is open plan with electric stove, rangehood, new 70/30 fridge/freezer, new dishwasher, microwave, coffee plunger, electric jug and toaster and a good selection of pots, pans, glasses, crockery and cutlery.
The second bathroom is downstairs and has a shower and toilet and has vinyl covering floor covering. The laundry has an automatic washing machine and stainless steel tub. There is no telephone connection and cell phone coverage is not very good at the house but better down on the beach. The garage is not available
Outdoor furniture includes a large gas BBQ, table and chairs, sun umbrella, and built in seating around one end of the front deck. There is parking for three cars or two cars and a boat at the front of the house.
Linen and towels are not included in the nightly rates, but are available for hire. Optional departure cleaning service is available on request
