Te Manu is a 3 bedroom Tairua holiday home that sits perched on the northern slopes of Paku, overlooking the Pacific Ocean... Relaxed and comfortable, the house sits on two levels with three bedrooms.

This Tairua holiday home provides comfort across two levels - upstairs offers spacious living with double sliding doors opening onto the main deck... The kitchen is well equipped although the view so distracting one might be excused if meals are a little slow!!

Bifold doors at Te Manu open to a back deck that is perfect for the BBQ! A bridge leads from the living area to a guest bathroom and the master bedroom with an ensuite and small deck - another spot to take in the beautiful views! Every window frames a view, but watching the sea on a wild day while soaking in the tub is simply heaven...

Downstairs off the main entrance, a small hallway leads to the guestroom - the king single beds are often used as one but can easily be separated. Built in bunks, in the third room, are great for kids though roomy enough for adults. Both rooms share a bathroom, which also houses a tucked away washer and dryer. A portable cot, highchair and stroller are also available.

Expect visitors daily, a quail family looking for handouts, Tui warbling in the flax, Phil the Pheasant with his furtive bride and the odd hiker 'lost' looking for the track. Paku offers many lovely walks through beautiful native bush, the trails are well maintained, the views picture perfect. From the house it's a 5 min walk to the beach, wonderful for swimming, surfing or simply soaking up the sun. The inner harbour offers a perfect paddling pool for small children whether the tide is in or out.

If you haven't caught fish for dinner or dug for the delicious Pipi, there are several very good restaurants, all within walking distance from this Tairua accommodation.
