At the Beach is a family Tairua holiday home set up for beach living summer or winter.

Situated across the road from and with easy access to the surf beach, this Tairua holiday home has private access down to the estuary. The best of two worlds surf beach or a safe estuary playground for small kids. From boogie boarding in the surf to paddling a kayak in the estuary, exploring rock pools on the beach to finding crabs in the estuary all easy to do with equipment supplied.

The main deck and living look up the estuary to the Hikuai Hills with spectacular sunsets. The main deck has sun shades, barbeque, loungers and outdoor furniture.

Inside a decent kitchen with dishwasher and waste disposal. Living and dining comfortable for six to eight people. No television but good stereo, heaps of books, board games and puzzles. A panasonic heat pump and heat transfer system means the house is cosy and warm within minutes of your arrival. There is also an efficient fire with wood supplied if you prefer the ambience of a fire.

Three bedrooms all with good quality beds. One with double bed. Second with two singles and the third with bunks and an extra single. One of the couches in the living room is a fold out double bed. The heat transfer system pumps heat into the bedrooms and there are also heaters if needed. Linen and towels are available to rent.

There is one bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. There is also an additional separate toilet. Even better there is a screened hot outdoor shower! There is plenty of hot water. The property is on town supply.

Half of the property is fenced and there is space for off road parking.

Kayaks, boogie boards, bikes, a beer fridge and a bait freezer are all available in the garage.

This Tairua accommodation is an easy level walk to shops, the town centre, restaurants and the ferry.
