Joie dur Mer is Whangamata Holiday House featuring 3 bedrooms, in a traditional style on a large, fully-fenced section just 200 metres to the beach!

This holiday house is comfortably furnished, and is carpeted in the 3 bedrooms and lounge with all other floor coverings being vinyl.

The master bedroom has a double and 2 single beds, 1 bedside table, 2 large dressing tables, 2 cane chairs and a small table, fabric curtains. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, 2 dressing tables and an armchair. The third bedroom has 1 set of bunks and a dressing table. There is one double and three single handmade patchwork quilts and 1 double and 3 single electric blankets. Blankets, under blankets and pillows are supplied and extras are available.

The open plan lounge/dining area which opens onto the lawn through French doors, is furnished with a built in divan and 2 armchairs, a medium oval antique wooden dining table, fabric covered wooden frame chairs and antique lounge suite, 32inch flat screen television (3 channels), a CD/Cassette mini system stereo, side table, cabinet, and chaise lounge, and a electric heater. The drapes are fabric and some rooms also have Holland blinds. The floor is carpeted.

There is also a sunroom that has a built in divan, a glass top table and 2 chairs. The floor is covered with vinyl and the curtains are fabric.

It is quite long and suitable for young adults or children.

The kitchen has a standard electric stove, a 70/30 fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, standard pantry, formica bench tops, and a good quantity of cutlery, crockery, serving dishes, pots and pans etc. There are 2 additional electric heaters available also.

The property has two bathrooms, one of which is just outside the back door.
Both bathrooms have shower, vanity, toilet and there is also a separate toilet. The laundry, which is also outside is equipped with an automatic washing machine.

Outdoor furniture includes 2 picnic tables and 8 chairs, a sun umbrella, and deckchairs.
