A very tidy, well presented, 4 bedroom fibrolite clad pole house situated on a large, fully fenced section approximately 20 minutes easy walk to the beach or a 5 minute drive. Can sleep 9 people but is more comfortable for 6-8 people.

The living area and bedrooms are carpeted and window coverings are fabric drapes, the kitchen, dining, bathroom and laundry have vinyl floors and wooden blinds on the windows.

There are two bedrooms downstairs each with a double bed, set of drawers and built-in wardrobes, one of these rooms opens out onto the deck.

There are also two bedrooms upstairs, one has a double bed, set of drawers and a clothes hanging rod, the other has a set of single bunks, single bed, set of drawers and a portable clothes hanger.

The open plan lounge has 2 x 3 seater fabric covered couches plus a bean bag and an ottoman, a coffee table, three shelf unit with a small mini system stereo, video player, a 29” flat screen TV receiving channels 1,2,3, there is also a Sky satellite connection, but you would need to bring your own decoder. There is an electric heater and an oil column heater for any cooler evenings. The dining area has a wooden table with 6 wooden chairs plus two wooden bar chairs for the breakfast bar area.

The kitchen has been recently refurbished and includes a new pantry area, a new oven/stove with ceramic hob, 70/30 fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frypan, electric jug, toaster and a selection of pots pans, cutlery, glassware and good quality crockery. There is also a portable radio in the kitchen.

The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower, vanity unit and toilet.

The laundry area has a tub, an automatic washing machine and clothes dryer mounted on the wall.

The outdoors include the deck that enjoys bushviews to the upper harbour, furnishings include 4 plastic chairs, a sun lounger and (usually) there is a gas barbeque for your use. (NB the BBQ was not available at the time of writing this description, please ask us to check whether it will be for your stay period.)

The large fully fenced section has a carport and plenty of parking for 4 cars and or a boat, and plenty of room for outdoor games on the large grassed area.

There is no landline telephone connection at the house but cell-phone reception is reasonable in Whangamata.
