Casa Piccolo - Whangamata
Casa Piccolo's vaulted ceilings and wrap around covered decks give this Whangamata holiday home a bright, airy, summery feeling regardless of the season. The house is set up for couples or small families, with quality furnishings and the fenced rear section means children can be left to play away from the road.
This Whangamata holiday home has two large double bedrooms, both now with comfortable queen size beds (old double bed is gone!) and plenty of space for a portable cot (not provided). There is also a sofa bed in the lounge which is separated from the bedroom hallway by a sliding door. Separate toilet and bathroom with a shower and hand basin unit.
There is ample off street parking and you won't need a car to get around. The main road shops are a short (2-3 minutes) stroll away via the pedestrian walkway off Charleston Ave and past the childrens' playground. The town beach is a further 3 minutes on via the walkway beside the library (beach access #6).
This Whangamata accommodation has a lockable garden shed in which you can store all your fishing gear, surfboards etc safely. There are a selection of DVDs, games and books to enjoy.
Whangamata itself has a great mixture of town conveniences with restaurants, takeaways, cafes and supermarkets but also boasting three different beaches, surf club, fishing spots and bush walks. The 9 hole golf course is an easy walk and they will hire you clubs; the 18 hole course is a short drive.
