Little Pohutukawa Bach - Wharekaho (Simpsons Beach) is a special one bedroom apartment (underneath Pohutukawa House) tucked away up a private driveway, nestled amongst Pohutukawa trees and ponga ferns with seaviews of the bay from the large front deck and a one-minute walk across the road to the beach.

Its the ideal spot to unwind and relax, or if you desire, to drive a few minutes south to explore Whitianga for market days, shopping, movies, golf, to name a few. Many tours of the area also depart from Whitianga.

The bedroom contains a queen-sized bed with a fitted electric blanket, side tables and a built-in wardrobe; in addition there are two single divan beds in the living area if required.

The lounge/dining area has ranchsliders leading out to the large deck, a feature window with views out to sea, tongue & groove walls, fabric drapes, polished cork tiled floors with a jute rug and lots of colourful original artwork. There is a 3-seater couch, two large bean bags (that can be used inside or on the deck), two single divans and a bookcase with a variety of titles, television, DVD, column heater and a sea chest used as a coffee table. The dining area has a wooden extension table and 4 bentwood chairs.

The kitchen has a stainless steel bench and tiles, bamboo blinds, an electric ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave/convection oven, electric frypan, toaster, electric jug and all the usual pots, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc.

The bathroom consists of a shower, vanity and separate toilet. A front loading automatic washing machine is situated under a large vanity.

The immediate outdoor area features a large private deck area with bush and sea views, also a wooden outdoor table and four director chairs

The gas barbeque set in a bricked area with log walled gardens, is located in a small private eating area at the back of the house, also with bush views. No matter if the wind is blowing there is a sheltered outdoor area to enjoy.

There is covered parking for one vehicle and boogie boards available in the outside cupboard.
