Southern Comfort on Water is near the waters edge, 4 bedroom, 3 level Moetapu Bay holiday with its own private jetty and mooring for guests! Southern Comfort offers stunning views and an amazing outlook to enjoy the Marlborough Sounds.

With three levels at this Marlborough Sounds accommodation, there is enough space for 2 families to relax and enjoy the space or groups up to 9 persons.

Enjoy the expansive living space opening out on to a fabulous deck on the middle level. On the top level, there are 2 double sized bedrooms and one bathroom And, on the bottom level, accessed externally, there is a double bed and a set of bunks and a trundle bed, with double doors that can divide this room. The downstairs room has an adjoining bathroom.

Cooking is a real treat either inside in the kitchen or on the BBQ on the lovely deck. The lounge has Sky TV. A small wood burner in the kitchen area takes the chill out of the air during winter. Wireless internet available!

There are also two kayaks and a dinghy available for guests to use, so there'll be no excuse not to explore beautiful Elephant Beach and adjacent Moetapu Beach which are part of Moetapu Bay!

Being close to the heart of Marlborough wine country, Southern Comfort makes a perfect base for day trips. Take some tasting notes at one of the many vineyards in the area, or take some time to enjoy the wonderful towns of Havelock, Picton or Blenheim, all of which are within driving distance.

Special Conditions

Please note that children will need to be supervised on the steep track that leads to the jetty (3 to 4 minutes walk). They need to stay on the track in case it is slippery.

The property is set on a steep section with road and beach access.

Included is a boat mooring and high tide jetty. Boats can also approach the property in all tides - either up to the jetty (high to mid tides) or on to the beach at lower tides.

There is a small beach that can be used when the tide starts to go out.

The dinghy is big enough to attach a small motor (there is not one provided at the property )

There is no room to park a boat trailer at this property, trailers can be left on Moetapu Bay Road next to the boat ramp driveway which is less than one km from the property

Wireless broadband up to 500 mb per day - charges will apply for daily usage above 500mb. $10 + GST per gig of data.
