This Pelorus Sounds holiday home, has a huge sunny deck that is perfect for resting while dinner cooks on the barbeque, or the kayak can be launched from the front garden. At low tide, you can fossick along the craggy shoreline of the Mahakipawa Arm.
This Belview Bay holiday home is refurbished in keeping with its peaceful native bush setting. It includes many modern facilities so you can have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
The kitchen and bathroom are new, with shower over the bath, and a dishwasher plus microwave. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area opens out to the deck.
There are two bedrooms, the first has a double and a single bed, the second a double with single bunk bed overhead.
Although this accommodation is assessable by major road, the surrounding native bush gives a secluded and private feel, plus provides shelter on most windy days.
To discover the beauty and excellent fishing of the Pelorus Sounds, launch your boat from the community ramp in the bay, or from the commercial ramp at Havelock Marina, where you can also join one of the many cruises that run from there.
The cafes, bars, restaurants and small town charm of historic Havelock are only a short 10 minutes drive away. The start of the Queen Charlotte Track at Anakiwa is only 9 minutes drive, and the famous Marlborough vineyards are just 25 minutes away
