This Te Horo Beach holiday home is only a 2 minute stroll from the laid back beach - an excellent spot for swimming or surfing the waves on kayaks and boogie-boards, also a very popular fishing and white-baiting area.
The main house sleeps up to 8 people comfortably, great for families or couples that just want to chill-out with all the amenities this house and the local area have to offer... There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, internal garage for one vehicle and driveway with double carport to park 3+ cars or even a boat!
The living area at this Te Horo Beach accommodation is open plan, with a fully equipped kitchen leading to the dining area with a cosy wood burner for cooler evenings, and then flowing into a spacious comfortable upper living area with great views!! Step outside onto a wrap around deck from the main house, allowing awesome panoramic ocean views of Kapiti Island to the eastern hills with gentle rural grazing land in-between...
On the lower level there is a second living area in the rumpus room, which can also be used as a chill-out area or for the kids while the adults relax upstairs.
Utilise the separate entertainment area that includes table tennis, a pool table, as well as a covered BBQ area for all year round sausage sizzles! This Te Horo accommodation is situated on a sheltered fully fenced section surrounded by different levels of gardens and courtyard area.
Just one hour's drive north from Wellington or south from Palmerston North, and only 10 minutes drive to Waikanae or Otaki to some great restaurants and shops. There are also some great fruit and vegetable stores along State Highway 1 either north or south of Te Horo so you can stock up on fresh supplies.
Te Horo also has its own Saturday morning market, Cafe and restaurant as well as a great local Heritage Museum. If you're into nature and after some adventure, there are some great bush walks, tramping and white water rafting in the local area...
