Plantation Dream is 3-bedroom schist clad home with amazing Wanaka alpine views. The one storey home is located just north of Wanaka township, close by to the lake front.
This partially fenced family holiday home will make you feel right at home. It features a schist stone inside and outside, giving the home a natural feel. The interior and exterior has a lodge style feel, with red brick, warm earthy colours and exposed timber that frames the windows and doors. There are 3 bedrooms, open plan living, and BBQ area opening up out into the north-facing garden. There is plenty of room for the large family or a couple of families and you can be assured of being warm in the winter months with a large log-burner.
The carpeted open plan living space features comfortable lounges that look out to a grass area through glass sliding doors. The dining table is suitable for 4 people, which you are able to see through the kitchen window & bench. The kitchen has all the basics with lino flooring and windows that wrap around the kitchen window framed by a schist stone archway. The kitchen has an oven/stove, microwave and adequate pantry space. The master bedroom features one queen-sized bed with bedside tables. The second bedroom features two single beds with on bedside table and lamps. The third bedroom includes one single bed and one bunk bed (the bottom bunk is a double, and the top bunk is a single). The bathroom includes a separate bath and shower, with a washbasin and large sized mirror.
The outside BBQ area is perfect for entertaining, with plenty of space for family and friends to relax in. And the fully fenced grass area is great for kids to spend time outside playing. This is truly a house you can walk into and relax after a hard day of sampling the best of the Central Otago area or just take in the peaceful setting and enjoy the lake and mountain views.
Just across the road is Lismore park that boasts numerous short cut tracks through to town, and a great bike park with plenty of exciting jumps and corners. Only a couple of doors away, is the local Club which serves discounted food and drinks. And around the corner are various shops and food outlets. The town is only a 5-minute stroll away. In Wanaka everything else is also within easy walking distance.
