Korora
Korora, named for the Little Blue penguins that live on the Abel Tasman coast, is an architecturally designed and recently built, 2 level, 2 bedroom "treehouse" set in and above the native bush with stunning views of the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach and bay, the Richmond Range, Kina Cliffs and Tasman Bay.
The beaches at Breaker Bay and Kaiteriteri are a 10-15 minute walk down the hill through the bush.
Two covered and 1 uncovered deck, accessed through sliding and folding glass doors, are situated on 3 sides of the house and provide seamless inside - outside living conditions under almost all weather conditions.
This is a fully furnished property with a modern, fully equipped kitchen and open plan living space, 2 bathrooms, and full laundry facilities.
This Kaiteriteri holiday home is just over 1km away from the beach, local store and cafe/bar. The shops and restaurants of Motueka are 16 km away and the Abel Tasman National Park, accessible by foot, kayak or water taxi, is just 8 km away.
Excellent brown trout fishing is available in the Riwaka (6 km) and Motueka (11 km) Rivers and the limestone caves on the Takaka Hill are worth visiting.
Visit the numerous vineyards, potters, sculptors, carvers and artists in the Tasman Area.
