“The view is amazing.”
the closeness to the beach excellent. My only real concern was the absence of a cupboard to store food such as tinned, packages food or cereal containers. Yes we had them on the bench but it left little room for working on the bench. cooking facility excellent with little cooker, hot plates, microwave, electric fryer, toaster, and jug. So all in all a very pleasant stay. the 2 dogs, 1 old girl and a 2 year old had their own beds, towels etc which we took and were happy and settled. we could put ...

So all in all a very pleasant stay. the 2 dogs, 1 old girl and a 2 year old had their own beds, towels etc which we took and were happy and settled. we could put them on a long line out the front as the garden was not fully fenced, this did not cause a problem as they are used to a long line at the camping grounds. We used our own towels and linen which helped keep the cost down. thank you.

Proper old-school simple but comfortable living in a magic location. It was just perfect for our family. Right on the beach, close to amenities and the wharf(for jumping). Kitchen simple but totally adequate. Beds comfortable. This place just forces you to kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and each others' company. Our family, including our 2 teenage boys loved everything about it. We read, played games, surfed, swam, boogie-boarded, went running and walking, wharf-jumped, took afternoon naps on the lawn out front. Properholiday

Toby “This in a great little kiwi Bach in an awesome location right across the road from the beach.”
Clean tidy and functional. There is a but......... sleeping arrangements do cater for a few, but you will need to be very familiarity your house mates, great for families with younger kids but not for couple who want a bit of privacy. Be prepared for camp style cooking facilities, functional but not super practical if you can’t do one pot meals or a dab hand on the bbq. Sounds like a whinge, definitely not we loved it, and would stay again. Good surf too. Thanks heaps

Comfortable beds, couch and recliner chairs to sit and read in. Enjoyed the hot shower. Very sunny and so close to the beach. Loved it and will book it again.

Exactly what you expect with your iconic kiwi bach. Right on the beach you couldn't get a better spot in ohope. Lots of room for a small family or even 2 couples. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and fit more than comfortably! Perfect summer stay!

Loved the proximity to the beach . Had everything we needed and was in a perfect location. Worth noting for people that this is a good traditional kiwi bach - so pretty simple. We will be back !

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Ocean Bach is a cosy Ohope Beach bach with an open plan sleeping area upstairs. Enjoying a great position right across the road from the beach, this bach is an easy beach base where you can sit back, relax, and take in the view! This 2 storey Ohope Beach bach includes compact open plan living downstairs, with easy outdoor living for simple summer stays... wander onto the generous section for soaking up the sun with sea views! The open plan sleeping area is situated upstairs at this Ohope Beach accommodation, and is fitted with a queen bed plus 2 single beds. A single bed is also located in the lounge when required. Relax on the spacious section, or head to the beach just a moments stroll from your door... All the basics are on hand for a kiwi beach break! Welcome to Ocean Bach at Ohope!
As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
One of the single beds is right next to the barrier for the stairs. All guests should take extra care in this area due to the risk of falls.
Please note that this property does not have full kitchen facilities and only has a portable 2 burner stovetop. There is no oven at this property.
