However the property seemed like it hadnât been cleaned the appliances need to be updated kettle leaked, tv had no reception only played dvds no wifi range hood didnât work only one side of the toaster worked, for the amount a night the property could use some updates. Would be a better summer property to book.

Natalie “As others have said this house is DIRTY.”
It had been vacuumed but not underneath anything - under the beds (which are raised beds) was a very thick layer of dust which was very visible. There were spider webs in every corner. On the first night there was a giant rat on the deck that looked to be living under the BBQ! The windows are so dirty that they look cloudy to look out of and around the joinery is SO MUCH insect poop and fly dirt that it is gross. Downstairs outside the table isn't useable on one side because the garden is so overgrown. There was some kind of animal poo outside the front door that wasn't cleaned away. On our first night we had no hot water because the bachcare rep hadn't turned the hot water cylinder on ... This house isn't just dirty, it is ingrained filth. You will feel very ripped off paying bachcare's cleaning fee when it clearly has not had a good clean in a very long time aside from a vacuum that my 6 year old could do a better job of. I had naively thought that bachcare would have taken into account previous renters feedback like they said that they do - they have not! This house should not be rented to the public until it is properly cleaned.

Karen “Breezy views is such a brilliant place to stay.”
It is just outside Whitianga and Simpson beach is such a quiet little gem of a beach. Our girls loved the quick walk to the swings and how easy the beach access is. The outdoor area is fully fenced which makes it great for kids. With 4 bedrooms downstairs, a bathroom and lounge it made it a great place for us with our family. Upstairs there is the master bedroom and 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, lounge and deck area. The house is modern but has that real Bach feel with loads of dvds, books and games and the kitchen is fully stoked with plastic ware, coffee machine etc. The bach was clean and tidy and we will definitely be booking to stay there again in the future. I do feel that there needs to be a little work done just to tidy the gardens slightly and maybe a handyman to come in just to hammer down the nails in the deck that have popped up over time, fix a few cabinets and deep clean/tidy of the kitchen but honestly none of this affected our stay in a negative way at all. We stayed at the property for 10 nights over Christmas and new year and it was such a quiet chilled area to be with our girls and we absolutely loved it.

We arrived last night for our stay this weekend as a Birthday treat for my Mother in Law. The Bach itself is lovely, and we are trying to make the most of it and enjoy it. But we have an issue with the cleanliness of the house .... The house had a musty, damp smell to in upon arrival There are spiders and SO many bugs, cobwebs in the showers etc - looks like it hasn't been stayed in for awhile and not cleaned before our arrival. Dead bugs on the dining table and bench tops etc Kitchen - the draws are quite dirty so we are washing everything be we use them Rooms are very dusty and duvets have an odour to them. But the worst is we paid for the linens, and in one of the single bunks inbetween the sheets was a dead cochroach! Needless to say, we are not using that bed, and my son is sharing with us ... Quite disappointing as we have prepaid the cleaning fee and the linens upfront - but it's to a very poor standard. Please let me know what we can do from here. I honestly wouldn't have complained about most of the above if it wasn't for the cochroach in the bed. Further to the above, after I had sent the email we noticed that the dishwasher was filled with dishes that wasn't washed ... need less to say the odour was not plesant ... and this adds to the state that the kitchen was left in, it wasn't cleaned properly after the last guests. We had to wash ALL the dishes before use, which was not really ideal. Look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards Hashika

Worked well for two families, as there were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. House would be improved if it was a little less cluttered with ornaments and furniture.

Breezy Views is a 5 bedroom Simpsons Beach holiday home. This contemporary, expansive holiday home provides enough accommodation for up to 8 guests with a maximum of 6 adults, Breezy Views is ideal for a family (or families!) trip away... This Wharekaho Simpsons Beach holiday home is situated within a stone's throw of the beach, and offers fantastic access to one of New Zealand's most beautiful coastlines. Featuring stunning views of Simpsons Beach, Breezy Views has two great outdoor areas in which to wine, dine, and relax.
