Thank you for sharing your family bach.
Thank you for sharing your family bach.

Margie “The house is in a great location and we enjoyed using their kayaks.”
We had a very relaxing weekend. You need to clean the beds specifically the 2 single beds in the other bedroom as our son got bites from bedbugs. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.
- Margie, November 2022Hi Margie, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry to hear about your son, we have investigated the matter and did not find any bedbugs. Despite this we have conducted a clean. Overall we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you stay again. Bachcare
Michelle “A great 70's kiwi bach style, our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay and the kids enjoyed exploring and nature.”
A great location in the bay and close to surrounding areas to enjoy bush walks and water adventures. It would of been very helpful to have been informed of the information on the road closure on Moetapu Bay Road prior to arrival, with having limited phone reception we had to ask road workers the situation as we are not from the area. This impacted on which time we would depart the property. Especially important for future travellers if catching the ferry or flights. Roading info or a link to the council website would of been helpful as a note on the Bachcare property ID as this is an ongoing issue and sounds like it has been for months.
- Michelle, April 2022Ash-Lei “Wonderful stay lovely and relaxing”
- Ash-Lei, July 2021Kate “Great batch!”
Has easy 2 minute private access to beach, kayaks and beautiful views! Outdoor area is fantastic for hosting families. CanâÃÃŽt wait to visit again
- Kate, April 2021Kirsten “Location, location, location - fabulous spot in Moetapu Bay.”
It's very Kiwiana and whilst old and a little dated has almost everything you need for a comfortable stay including a dishwasher! You aren't paying top dollar so don't expect what top dollar gets you, but if you are after peace and quiet in an outstanding, affordable setting, where the views both day and night are fantastic, then this could just be the spot for you.
- Kirsten, April 2019We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and the wonderful position of this home so much. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Bachcare

- Leanne, March 2019Robin “A nostalgia trip for us older folk.”
- Robin, March 2019Elisabeth “The most well equipped Bach we have stayed in!”
! Kiwi bach at its best! Lovely views of the beach and nature. Definitely recommend
- Elisabeth, March 2019Emiliano “Perfect batch to actually get away and have some privacy.”
And the location is just magnificent
- Emiliano, February 2019Megan “This is a great basic kiwi bach.”
Good for children although we had to drive to Moetapu Bay for swimming. Lovely views and very peaceful.
- Megan, January 2019Johanna “We really enjoyed our stay here.”
The location is very private and has its own beach access. It has a great (covered) deck with a fab view of the water and hills - perfect for relaxing outside in all weathers. The house has a unique interior that will bring back memories for anyone in New Zealand in the 70s and 80s - some things we didn't even realise we remembered. It is very comfortable with everything you need for a great (self-contained) stay.
