Mahendra “Fantastic facility on the beach front.”
Lots of provisions which gives the clear impression that the owners are invested in making guests feel comfortable and valued. One tiny issue is that the hot water was turned off when we arrived, which we didn't find out till the next morning. Would have preferred being aware of this earlier. A simple notice on the bottom of the stairs would have been useful.

We appreciate the well stocked crockery, cutlery and pot cupboards and full cook top. The best part about the apartments is the beach location. The couches are oversized for the space and are quite uncomfortable. They are also starting to look tatty with material wearing away on some places. We wondered how often the couches are professionally cleaned? It would also be good to have some outdoor seating for the top deck area.

Megan “The place was very cute and comfortable.”
Unfortunately the shower drain was blocked which led to a flooded bathroom on the first night and gunk in the shower. We cleaned it up and spent time on phone calls and texts with the bachcare people (who did get it fixed the next day). So we were generally happy with the place but also disappointed, as dealing with nasty plumbing issues wasn't how we planned to spend our special weekend. I'm sure the previous visitors would have known about the problem too.

Apartment had everything and more that we could need. Loved that it was complete beachfront, no road to cross, no traffic noise. Would look at visiting again and also recommend to others, lovely big beach to explore, plus easy access and close to other area's to visit. Snell's Beach very limited with grocery/eating out options, but an easy 10min drive to Warkworth that has everything. Thanks so much, very restful weekend!!

It would be helpful to have some instructions for operating the cooktop - we are in our 80's and not up to date with latest symbols etc.! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the entertainment of the walkers + dogs along the walkway! Sheena

The quick lock up and go feature made it possible for us to really enjoy the surroundings had to offer. Being right on the beach brought a smile to our son's face each day. The property was equipped with everything (and more) we would expect from a little holiday home.

The property
Beachside at Snells is a great Snells Beach Holiday Apartment located across the road from the beach! This Snells Beach accommodation offers a prime location in which to have great relaxing holiday with your family! Beachside at Snells is well appointed, very comfortable and relaxing. As you enter the home you will see the stairwell on the left hand side and then the bedroom and the bathroom on the right hand side. With 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed, this Snells Beach holiday apartment is ideally suited to a couple or small family looking to spend time exploring the Rodney District. The stairwell is open without hand railing on one side and therefore this accommodation is not suitable for small children. Upstairs is the living area which opens out onto a deck facing the beach; a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the sun. The open living area is bright and cheerful with all you need to kick back and relax during your stay. This Snells Beach holiday accommodation is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with the only distraction being the sound of the gentle lapping of the waves... Bliss! Snells Beach is popular with families and is in close proximity to the Matakana region. Be at the famous Matakana Markets within just 10 minutes, wineries are a short drive away, and the township of Warkworth is less than 15 minutes away! Beachside at Snells is set in a picturesque location, which is great for those relaxing escapes from the city. Get away from it all and put your feet up at Beachside at Snells!
