    “Property is beautiful and has everything we needed to have a comfortable stay.”

    Few areas of wear and tear in the house which may require attention from you, I.e. bathroom door handle in the master bedroom is broken. The oven door is functioning but lose and may require tightening. Thanks again!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

This single storey, Master Builder award-winning home offers 150 square metres of decking - ideal for soaking up the sunshine, fresh air, and serene surroundings! At this Sandy Bay accommodation you will find an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area - plus, there is a separate TV room. The Perfect Degree has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms are each fitted with a queen bed. The third bedroom provides 1 set of bunks and 1 queen pull-out sofa bed. The living area offers a further 2 pull-out sofa beds. Additionally, you will find a spare queen mattress in the garage should it be required. Please note Sandy Bay is 5-10 minute drive from the house, and 15 minutes from Matapouri. For pure relaxation, style, and comfort come and enjoy The Perfect Degree!

About the location

A 10-minute drive from Tutukaka or a 2 hour 25 minute drive from Auckland and you'll find yourself in the marine paradise that is Matapouri. Matapouri is one of those idyllic spots, where every corner you turn you'll find yourself in awe as you stumble upon another azure blue cove lined with Pohutukawa or golden dunes. There's much to explore with Whale Bay nearby being accessed via a 15 minute bush walk, and of course the legendary mermaid pools a large natural set of rock pools set against the ocean perfect for swimming in at low tide.
