On March 23rd, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern updated the nation on COVID-19 and announced that New Zealand was moving to Alert Level 4. For this reason, and in our effort to support the government, our frontline health care professionals and to protect the wider community, that we have made temporary but critical changes to our operation.

On May 11, 2020 the government announced that inter-regional travel is permitted as part of Level 2 that will commence at 11:59 on May 13, 2020.
For bookings confirmed between 12th May, 2020 and 30th May, 2020, that have a check in date before or on the 30th September, 2020, guests are eligible for a refund for their stay, minus the Service Fee. This applies only if the New Zealand government announces a return to a restrictive COVID-19 level which states that guests are legally not permitted to travel to the property. If you have booked on or before March 14, 2020, with a check-in date that is within the official New Zealand government’s Level 4 or Level 3 periods, you are entitled to your choice of the option to rebook your holiday to a later date, a Bachcare credit redeemable against any of our properties in the next 12 months or a refund.
