After listening to your feedback, we’ve split our Pet Friendly category search into two categories: ‘Pet Friendly – Inside Welcome’ and ‘Pet Friendly – Outdoor Only’.
Here’s how to make sure you know whether your furry family member is allowed to head along with you, and whether your pup will be doing some backyard cruising or a bit of couch surfing.
What’s changed?
When you visit the Bachcare website and head through to the ‘Pet Friendly’ category, it will now default to show only holiday homes that welcome pets indoors. This search can be changed by heading to the filters and selecting ‘Pet Friendly – All’.
How do I know whether the property I’m looking at allows pets indoors?

So, you’ve found a property with the ideal set up for your holiday! To see whether it will allow your furry friend inside, look out for a red dog icon at the top of the property description page. This will either be labelled as ‘Pet Friendly Inside Welcome’ or ‘Pet Friendly Outdoor Only’.

Do I have to book a pet friendly property for my assistance/guide dog?
No. Any medical assistance or guide dog is welcome in all of our holiday homes.
How much more do I pay for my dog to come along too?
A small pet friendly fee of $20 + GST for up to two pets will apply. You’ll be happy to find this is one of the cheapest fees out there!
How do I check whether my property is pet friendly once I’m on the booking page?
Once you head to the page that offers add-ons such as our cleaning services and cancellation insurance, if the holiday home you selected is pet friendly, you’ll see a message under ‘Pet Friendly Property’.
