.when the neighbours have their lights on, the two bedrooms which are extremely close to the house next door are lit up making sleep difficult.

The home is in a wonderful location, across from the beach. We had 3 out of 5 days of rain, so the ping pong and darts made the stay fun. The property advertised a hair dryer, but there was none. I called on the first day, as the hair dryer was in the listing, and was told we probably would not get one, and we did not! The stove needs to be replaced. I tried to boil, on different burners 1 1/2 cups of water. After 10 minutes, the water STILL did not come to a boil! Some DVDs the family wanted to watch were from different regions than the DVD player, making them unable to use. Back patio furniture had comfortable seating, but slats were missing from some of the chairs. There was a nice selection of games. The bathroom upgrades appeared to be within the last 5 years or so. Bedding comfortable. There was a large selection of dishes/glassware/pots and pans, but as I wrote, the stove did not work (oven ok). As a former vacation rental owner, I'm particular about what I'm receiving in a rental property.

We have discussed this with the owners who are keen to keep everything at a high standard. The hairdryer seems to have unfortunately been misplaced and has now been removed from the listing. In terms of the stove, the owners had mentioned that they stayed at the property recently and had experienced no problems - it is a traditional kiwi shacklock oven so may take time to heat up. The DVD collection is quite extensive and some of these movies may have never been checked for compatibility with the DVD reader - this will be done shortly. Also, the outdoor chairs will be inspected and upgraded where necessary. With that all said, we are glad that you enjoyed your holiday here, with Poharadise’s wonderful location. Bachcare

It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We appreciated that the property was securely fenced and that we could include our dog on our weekend away. We liked that there were places to sit outside that caught the sun at different times of the day.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

As there is a section of the rear deck without a barrier with a small drop on to grass, all guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls.
All guests should take extra care when using the upper bunk bed in bedroom 3 as it does not have guard rails to prevent falls.
