Michelle “The oven and cooktop did not work, the switch to turn them on buzzed.”
The bbq was unfit to use it war very dirty and the ignition did not work. The cleaner needs to be given more time to clean better and the bed covers were stained, the windows were all dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. No washing machine. Not at all what I was expecting for our stay. Would not stay again. Would appreciate a refund.

Tale “Lovely holiday home in perfect spot in Leigh.”
Easy entry, clean, nice beds, furniture and large deck. Two bathrooms were great and kitchen with oven and full size fridge. The 3 seater sofa did not fit 2 couples which was a shame when some bad weather hit and we stayed in. We took turns on couch which wasn't conducive to enjoying time together. A sofa chair is needed when 4 adults are booked. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

We stayed here for my wedding which was on Saturday at Leigh Central - so just across the road ;) I accidentally didn't book linen (oops) so my bridesmaid had to go back home to get sheets and towels. There was a noticeable lack of some simple touches that would have made our stay a lot more enjoyable - e.g Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash in the showers, an ironing board (there was just a plastic fold up camping table?) and champagne flutes seeing as it's across the road from a wedding venue. Seemed to be lots of empty fly spray and plug in mosquito repellers, so we got smashed by mozzies and the welcome note that was left said to enjoy the bottle of wine in the fridge, but there was none? We also found rubbish and nappies under the bed. With a little more attention to detail, this will be a really nice accommodation option. I've personally managed air bnbs and run my own cleaning company before, so I know how easy it would be to improve the guest experience with little effort/cost. I would look forward to future stays with some simple added touches

Peter “Great property with indoor/outdoor living onto large sunny and sheltered deck.”
Would expect both showers to be working for a two bathroom house as standard but one was not. Other maintenance items need fixing/attention which were raised during our stay with the Property Manager. Not sure where the WiFi instructions were to connect to during our stay and some kitchen items would have been good e.g. bread knife, smaller tongs for serving salads/food and an assortment of smaller serving bowls. Iâm raising these based on the accuracy of the listing.

Daniel “Had an enjoyable stay in Leigh at this property, which was very convenient for a friends wedding in the area.”
Just a couple of points to note though - mosquito screens on the windows would be a huge advantage as there were a lot of these in the property after having the house open during the day. Also, the value on one of the showers wasnât working, so we had to use one bathroom between us for showering. Not a major but just a bit of general feedback. Overall, we had a good stay (albeit with some itchy legs!) and a couple of improvements would lift the property to the next level.

Rory “Great location.”
Most of all the review feedback is probably true. Read it and take it on board. We stayed for 10 days and loved it. The place was impeccably clean when we arrived, which encouraged us to make sure we left it as we found it. We left something behind and the cleaner rang us and then returned it to us. We booked it again for a long weekend 3 weeks later. So much to do around Leigh, from Tawharanui to Pakiri plus Matakana. Having a small shed with a washing machine would be great for those staying more than a couple of nights. Big Thumbs Up!!

Clean, modern, over the road from all Leigh shops. Great location to either explore or relax. Bottle of wine on arrival was a bonus !

The interior is very tidy and modern. It's a nice walk down to the closest bay or a short drive to Goat Island and Matheson Bay. On the downside, the smallest room has no curtain. Also there's a lot of mosquitos at night so better to use the heat pump than open a window when the place remains hot from the day (or use the fly spray under the sink).

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
