“This property was a bit overpriced.”

Wifi was advertised but not provided. It was also a shame that when I had phoned that there was a long wait and no one answered my call. Then when I sent an email about this there was no response.

“Unfortunately, the keys are not as detailed, and there is no lock box as instructed, (including the code) This was unnecessarily stressful as we arrived in a thunderstorm on a Friday night following terrible traffic.”

Not sure how anyone could find keys if arriving in the dark? Linen was not supplied as requested causing additional discomfort. TV doesn't work therefore no chance of a movie on a rainy night and no wifi to link to for other media options. There is no letterbox and therefore no street number making the experience a mystery whether the owner has thought about arriving from a visitor's perspective. The interior is newly decorated and clean which is very nice. The driveway is very tight and not ideal for large vehicles (Landcruier in this case) for unloading

“Accommodation was nice.”

Bed was a bit hard. Overall a pleasant stay. Unfortunately I was given the incorrect code for the lock box. If took quite a while to get through to Bachcare to sort it.

“Tidy and bright little bach.”

The living area is small. It's more like motel style accomodation but suited our family for a short stay. NB there is no wifi at this property as listed.

Then as the day draws to a close, retreat to the chic yet comfortable, open-plan living space where a TV, WiFi, and cosy couches welcome you to make yourself right at home. You're sure to get a good night's rests in the two bedrooms here at Sunlit Abode. Sleeping up to five guests, the configurations are perfect for a family escape to the beach, or a weekend away with friends. If you’re feeling peckish, local favourite Leigh Eats is only a 10-minute walk away; a must visit for your next caffeine fix. The Leigh General Store is also right next door for any supplies you may need. Leigh Sawmill is two minutes away by car for some great food and drink, and often live music. If you're on the hunt for more adventure, take a 20-minute walk, or three-minute drive, to Te Kohuroa Beach for a day at the seaside. Or why not visit Goat Island Marine Reserve, where you can spend your day snorkelling or on a glass-bottom boat or kayak adventure. All this only an eight-minute drive from your home away from home. Please be aware this property does not have a full kitchen. A kitchenette with fridge/freezer, kettle, mini electric oven and toaster is available for use during your stay.

As there is a section of the deck without a barrier with a small drop on to grass, all guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls.

Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.
