A few things could improve Mould on curtains coming in by kitchen. bad. also needs a tie_ back. The hand basin outlet needs a clean. A better quality toilet seat needed, this one is too plastic and lightweight. We arrived on 28th and left on 30th. Only ONE towel each to use for 3 showers each. Internal windows dirty, especially by the table. Cobwebs against the house deck. From top of path by the car park to where the path flattens out, PLEASE put in a wooden railing to hold on to. It is the path, with that angled step that is very dangerous.If I was by myself I would not have been able to reach your house. Sadly the noise neighbours had make the stay bit unpleasant and instead hearing birds we hear people yelling. Hope next time it will be better as looking forward to come back again.

Last time I stayed I provided my own linen, this is now not allowed. Therefore it was pretty frustrating not to have tea towels. I phone as soon as I discovered it but it was 48 hours before tea towels were provided.

We had magnificent weather which was a plus. The cottage was even better than we imagined. The pictures in the listing lead us to book but the pictures cannot possibly describe the peace, the privacy, the bird song and the view. The cottage had a really comfortable bed and everything we needed and was spotless.

Comfortable, clean, secluded. Great view of harbour (binoculars provided). Surrounded by bush: Tui, Bellbird, Kereru and Quail all made an appearance. Highly recommended.

Also liked the walkway to Childrenâs Bay and into town. A couple of areas could improve slightly to make the experience even better: - cleanliness. There were hairs on fooor in bathroom, the bathroom plug had mould, some of the mugs had marks that I washed before using. - outside area wiped/cleaned. I wiped down the railing outside as it was covered in dirt and bird poo etc. Loveley area so would use it more if clean. - it eas extremely hot when we stayed, which was great, except for the nights when hard to cook the room without any air conditioning. Moved to sleep directly under the fan.

great views of the harbour . Everything is really close to akaroa etc ..a couple things I could think of was that the place could do with aircon for the summer months as it gets very warm even with the doors open letting in fresh air and the roof fan on & the bbq could do with a clean itâs pretty yuck maybe even at the point of replacing it in the future as it didnât operate all that well

Tranquility should be the name for this place. We enjoyed cold days and nights thanks to fire place. Bed was very comfy, big bath, shower and everything what you need. Highly recommended!

Perplexing that no toiletries were provided but everything else was there. Spacious and comfortable, and our dog loved it too. The only improvement could be a little more attention to dusting

Bed is so comfortable. It was raining while we were there so we had the fire on and a good scary movie . It was perfect . Thanks to Nick at Bachcare on the phone for organising linen and towels that I forgot to book . I think you should add the linen etc and up the cost .. nothing worse than forgetting linen and towels

We absolutely loved our stay. Such a perfect place to relax and reset. Woodside has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
