The property

Retreat to the privacy and tranquility of this comfortable four-bedroom home, boasting enough space for the whole family to spread out and relax on holiday. Welcome to La Maison de Manu Waiata! Nestled harmoniously within its natural surroundings, La Maison de Manu Waiata, meaning "The house of bird song" is enveloped by native bush and mature trees. Designed with careful consideration, the one-level layout allows for seamless indoor-outdoor flow to the outdoors, providing the perfect vantage point to soak in the breathtaking scenery and serenade of birdsong. The well-equipped and functional kitchen provides everything you need to prepare holiday meals or embrace the alfresco lifestyle on the spacious, wrap-around deck, where you can enjoy a casual BBQ gathering or savor a cup of coffee by the fire pit. After a day of exploration, retire to one of the four comfortable bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 guests between the main home and a separate sleepout. A well-appointed family bathroom and separate laundry space completes the set-up. During the colder months, the home offers warmth and comfort with double glazing and an indoor fireplace that conveniently heats the entire home. Outside, the property provides ample off-street parking for two vehicles, as well as space for a boat or caravan. Despite its secluded feel, the property is conveniently located just a two-minute drive or a short 10-minute stroll from the village, where you'll find a superb selection of eateries and amenities. Alternatively, embark on a thrilling dolphin-watching adventure from Akaroa Wharf or immerse yourself in art and culture at The Giants House. Immerse yourself in the serenity of this idyllic retreat - La Maison de Manu Waiata awaits!
