    “Beautiful little place.”

    We loved the back verandah, the orchard, the location within Akaroa, the Frenchness. The owners may like to know that the second bedroom window does not close and can be cold/wet on the top bunk. The kitchen was not as clean as we expect - e.g. unwashed ovenware, some pillows with no pillow cases, beds had very wrinkled sheets so we wondered had they been changed, and there were some gaps in supplies such as no washing up liquid. These may be small things, and they did not change our ...

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

A fresh, family bathroom will help you to holiday with ease. Step out onto the veranda and appreciate the peace and serenity that surrounds, while you can Alfresco dine with an additional outdoor seating area at the rear of the home. This generous section is fully fenced and provides the security of off-street parking. Enjoy the beautiful orchard at the back garden, plenty of space to enjoy a picnic surrounded by fruit trees. A five-minute stroll takes you to Akaroa’s main strip where you’ll find an array of historic buildings and local amenities. Venture beyond to the stunning French Bay, where you can enjoy a meal at a handful of waterfront cafes and restaurants. A perfect representation of Akaroa's charm – Libeau Cottage awaits!
