A disappointing old damp and dirty bach with poor access, would not recommend.

Bachcare replied

Thank you for your review. We are working with the local team to address the cleanliness and ensure this does not occur in the future, furthermore current improvements to property are in action to be rectified.

This Akaroa bach has a good view across the harbor and is in a good location to walk into the township. The access path up to the house is not well maintained and would be difficult for those with mobility issues. It was raining during our stay and the path needed careful navigation to avoid slipping. The bach is basic and would be much improved with some TLC from the owners. A good example of this is the wardrobes in the bedrooms unable to be used as one was full with stuff and the other had some persons old clothes hanging in it. Over all I was disappointed but the house has potential with some care and attention.

Fabulous view. Everything you need. Walking up the steps became easier the more you did it. Great location.

Nice batch in great location. The access climb gave a great view. The driveway access was a challenge up and down. More heating required in winter.

This house is comfy and has lovely views. It's a bit dated but that was part of it's charm. The driveway was a bit of a nightmare to get up in our car!
