“Loved this house and especially the views!”

Amazing!!! Very comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. A outdoor table and chairs would be fantastic to enjoy the view while eating or drinking and needed some incense oil bottles would be good as the house has a very old musty smell, had to air it out every time we were home. Other than that would highly recommend this lovely home, great location, lovely and quiet.

“Very dated, but functional house.”

Did the trick for 3 couples for a week. Could be much improved by a BBQ and furniture for eating on the deck. Ensure that the water filter is replaced before your stay. Paihia water is very musty

“Thanks for the information A few things to note 1.”

Window latch of the shower room was broken 2. Exhaust fan, water leaking from the front right hand(when facing it) 3. There was no milk available 4. TV was fixed two days after we registered a complaint.

Will not stay there anymore, maybe during the christmas period, everyone is on leave, things are broken in the property, lots spiders, bugs around, for the money you paying for, not a good property to stay

“The views were lovely.”

The house is average and as per someone elses comments the carpet needs replacing. Not make or break for us, but it could do with an upgrade very soon. Paihia is gorgeous though.

“Horrible experience, smelly carpet and spider webs everywhere dees not felt welcomed.”

The house needs carpet change and proper cleaning. Due to unhealthy conditions, we booked five nights and only managed to stay two nights as our children could not get to sleep at night because smelly carpet. Definitely not recommending to anyone to go. In fact, the house should be out of the listings from Bachcare, as I hope anyone will not go through bad experience like we did.

“We enjoyed our stay here.”

It was a good location on a very quiet residential street, good size house with plenty of space for your belongings. It is about a 40minute walk into Paihia, however it's quite an uphill slog so you will probably rely on the car/taxi more. The board games were a nice touch. The view on a clear day across to Russell from the back deck is lovely; it's so peaceful and quiet you feel like you're in the middle of bush! The house is dated but well insulated and clean.
