“A nice modern home with quality appliances.”

Extensive cutlery, glassware, crockery and cooking utensils. Fantastic views from the deck. Comfortable beds. A very quiet neighborhood. Convenient ground floor self-contained additional accommodation. Would easily suit 6 people although there were only two of us and we slept upstairs. 10 minutes to eateries and shops in Waipu and Mangawhai. Langs Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we have been to.

“A beautiful property in a beautiful location, the view was stunning.”

The house was clean, comfortable with lovely amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and despite the weather we managed to take in the sights, take walks on the beach and enjoy this stunning piece of New Zealand. This home away from home allowed us to enjoy some wonderful family time together, thanks so much.

“We loved the house and what a view !”

! The only negative was the shower pressure upstairs. Sometimes ok sometimes terrible and sometimes would switch between the two. Not sure if this can be remedied.

“This property was great for our two families over the summer break.”

It had a lot more space than we anticipated and waking up to that view every morning was a treat. The house was well stocked and the multiple bathrooms made it that much easier for everyone. There were multiple small fans which were put to use at night and the outdoor shower had the best pressure on it. Its important to point out that there were a few things that were a hazard for young toddlers/kids one of which was pointed out to us before booking. The stairs have a bit of a drop on one side at the bottom half, the back part of the deck fence has a generous gap in the bottom and the single bedroom window has no latch on it meaning the kids could easily climb out.. Black out curtains would also be helpful in that room as it gets the evening sun and was hard for the kids to fall asleep in.

“This is a beautiful property and a stunning view.”

Maybe this is a new rental so the owners are not familiar when asking people to bring linen and towels that shouldn't include hand towels and floor towels. This large property badly needs heat pumps for winter comfort, the heaters provided were sadly ineffective. I'd say Air-con in the summer would be appreciated by some. Also, we recommend you take bottled water as there is no water filter and we could taste the nasty chemicals even in our strong coffee. Lastly not providing a rubbish bin to place recycling and general waste in meant we carried bags to our next location. Small details matter, finding we had to carry waste in our car ended our trip in disappointment.
