Rosa “Beautiful cosy cottage.”
We so enjoyed our stay, thank you!
We so enjoyed our stay, thank you!
- Rosa, July 2023 -
Kelly “Amazing wee cottage that suited our family of five perfectly!”
The only small downsides were the bathroom sink tap not functioning, not water... and the loud noise the hot water cylinder produces when showering, but the shower had great pressure! And it would've been a bonus to have a washing machine but not a necessity, if need be and time allowed we could've utilized the local laundromat. But apart from that, we were very happy and comfortable, especially arriving on a very cold winters evening and the house was nicely heated and cozy for the remainder of our stay. Thank you

Aura “This little old cottage was so lovely and cosy - we had a great stay.”
Awesome shower! Thank you
- Aura, February 2023Eric “We had booked the cottage with linen, however when we arrived in the early evening there was no linen.”
There were lightbulbs that were not working, so we couldnât have some lights on and there was other guests rubbish in the lounge room under the tv cabinet and along the skirting boards. There was also no access to the washing machine to enable us to wash the bedlinen and towels we had had to borrow from other people. The front garden was full of weeds, it just felt very uncared for. We had really been looking forward to staying here, but will not be booking it again.
- Eric, January 2023Vicki “This is my 3rd holiday at this property and as mentioned in my last two stays there are things that definatley need attending to.”
The oven needs replacing. It smokes realy bad and sets the smoke alarm off every time you open the oven door. The BBQ doesn't go! The iron is broken. Suggestion that you put a full length mirror maybe in one of the bedrooms. Sound system is not hocked up. Kitchen essentials like pot scrub, dish cloths not satisfactory, I bought my own, along with two baking dishes, some egg cups and whisk and potato masher. Also maybe some information on how the TV works! would be helpful as well. The catch on the patio doors is also broken and I had to use the kitchen tongs to pull down the latch to open them. Kitchen taps were dripping constantly. I would love to stay again in this property as my son lives there and i visit quite often, but until you can assure me that these items are addressed I will be looking elsewhere. Also it would be good to access the laundry especially if your there for a week or so.

Rochelle “What a beautiful wee home, lovely outdoor areas to sit.”
Location top notch, only a block back from the river and 10 minute walk to Heritage precident. Such a comfortable bed and awesome shower. Only downfall was the little fridge, ok for 2 people but definitely not for 5, no freezer capacity either. As stated there is no washing machine but laundromat only a couple of minutes away and a good size clothesline at the house. Definitely would stay again.
