The home was warm, cozy and had everything we needed. It was a lovely touch arriving to the warmth of the heat pumps already on and the fire set all ready for us to light.

Beds were comfy and it had everything we needed. Unfortunately the property management let it down. It took half an hour to get in as the code we were given didn't open the key box. Lots of sitting on hold until we could speak to someone at bachcare. Cleanliness wasn't very good: Clothes labels were found behind doors, under beds and in clothes drawers. Marks on the quilt. Scarf and hat found under one bed, so clearly hadn't been cleaned under.

My advise is to shop around. Bachcare were fast to confirm. The manager in Cromwell knew what time we weâre arriving and put the heat pumps on so it was warm when we opened the door. Given it was the middle of winter what a kind gesture. We exchanged a couple of text messages but it wasnât intrusive but helpful and caring. Our family would definitely go to the Bachcare site for future bookings and would highly recommend. The manager in Cromwell is wonderful

Bring some coffee tea and sugar as they are properly refilled. Also check if hot water is available. Other than that a great place.

Walking into this house was a breathe of fresh air. Clean, warm and recently renovated. Although smaller than our orginal house we booked, we all enjoyed our stay. Our baby is 10months old and had a great time exploring. Great big backyard with playground, great location. Thank you to the owners for accommodating us after such an ordeal.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Cross the road from the Golf Course, in the charming town of Cromwell alongside Lake Dunstan, Getaway on the Green is waiting to host you on your trip to the South! Filled with natural light with pops of colour throughout, this is a warm and welcoming home to settle into for a great lakeside holiday. At the end of a day spent on the green or out on the lake, come together in the open plan kitchen and dining space for those a tasty meal and then chill out in the lounge. This is a well-equipped 3-bedroom holiday home with all essentials on hand including a fireplace for those toasty warm winter nights. In summer make use of the large sundeck and BBQ for the classic kiwi experience. Make sure to bring your Golf clubs with the Golf Course right across the road, and just a short walk will have you teed up at the first hole. Head out into Cromwell Old Town or down to the River's edge both within a 5 min walk. If you are keen for some adventure, take a day trip to Coronet Peak, the Remarkables or Cardrona Ski fields, all about an hours drive away. Make your way to Cromwell and enjoy Getaway on the Green!
