Outside lighting needs to be fixed around back door as dark when coming from the drive way and no sensor light to make it come on. Loved the rooms and decor and comfortable beds.

Comfy, warm and clean- a joy to spend a weekend away for work with colleagues- 'adults enjoying adult time' without their kids. Convenient and close to everything and in a quaint road that gives you all 'them' feels. If we are ever in Napier again we will be staying here.

Lounge is small and poorly lit so it was good to have the outdoor area to sit in.No dining table- bit of a drawback for Christmas dinner but okay.

Bedrooms were all very cosy and comfortable with nice linen. Would stay here again any time. Add a spa pool out the back and it would be perfect!

Close to Napier cbd in one direction, and Ahiruhi shops and eateries in the other direction. Off road parking for 2 vehicles. There are 3 bedrooms in the house but the living/lounge area is too small for more than 4 people. There is an outdoor seating area with a BBQ which would be nice in the summer though.

It has beautiful bedrooms: the beds are very comfy and there are blinds to keep most of the light out. There were games, wifi and even Netflix for entertainment, and overall, the place has a lot of character. Only thing to be aware of is that there is no dining table. There are 4 (uncomfortable) bar stools to eat at the bench, which we found a bit annoying with our kids. There is a nice outdoor seating area (and BBQ) but again, only a very low table which really isn't suitable to eat at. The kitchen is not very well appointed: e.g. there are no cereal bowls, no strainer and only two small pots. The hob works but you can only turn the plates on and off. Controlling the heat is virtually impossible. I saw other reviews mentioning this and I really don't understand why the owners don't just replace the hob. With the money we paid for 6 nights, you can easily buy a new hob and spare future renters of this frustration.

A central suburb of Napier, Bluff Hill is conveniently located and has the best view in town. After the 1931 earthquake, Napier was beautifully rebuilt in distinct Art Deco style architecture, making it the Art Deco hub of New Zealand.
