The easy short walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants was great too. We had a very pleasant stay :) For the owners - on NY Eve it rained quite heavily, after which there was a small pool of water on the floor in the laundry room. It was difficult to tell from where it had come in - it did not seem to be via the door (the puddle was against the right hand wall, between the two doors, if looking into the laundry room from the inside. It also didn't seem to have come through the roof or wall, there were no obvious drips. We mopped it up. Something to just keep an eye on I guess. We were happy, our dogs were happy and have already booked for our next stay. The only thing that was frustrating was the sky and freeview TV - just gave up trying to get it to work.

Beds are soft and comfortable. During summer all bedrooms should have floor standing cooling fans as they are very warm at night.

Great location. Only downside is bachcare's shocking refund policy. We were wanting to cancel as concerned about weather, slips etc and were told zero refund of our $1,000 over two weeks out. As it turned out the weather was gorgeous until the last night. The road we traveled on to get there was closed due to slips and we were lucky to get home. With recent weather events it is shocking they refused us to be able to move our booking. The person I dealt with was very unhelpful and we will never use bachcare ever again.

With regards to the situation at the time of your booking we were offering CODs if for any reason roads where closed or more flooding and slips happened, We were offering this even if it happened during the booking. Amazing fully fenced area, perfect for a family with kids and a dog. The house was fully equipped with all the necessities and the finer details to top of our stay. It was a lovely quiet street as well, with friendly neighbour's too. We will definitely be coming back for a stay in the future, thank you very much!!!

Easy walk to town and the water front. The house was new, clean and tidy and the kitchen was stocked with an excellent array of utensils all in excellent condition. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Had everything needed and more. Some minor niggles - lawns were very long on arrival and even longer when we left, outdoor setting covered in bird poop, and no instructions on how to use oven which we couldnât get working. But location was perfect and nice enclosed yard for the dog. We would love to come back!
