    “We had a lovely stay at Harbour View Haven and really appreciated being able to bring our dog.”

    Location was perfect for us and lovely to be able to see the estuary. The house feels a little cluttered with the owners belongings but everything was very comfortable, especially the beds.

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Just a three-minute walk from the estuary rests this gorgeous three-bedroom holiday cottage, where you’re treated to a view over the Tairua River from your deck. Welcome to Harbour View Haven! Furnished with your comfort in mind, this classic Kiwi beach bach is ready for you to make yourself at home. Open up the windows and doors to create seamless indoor-outdoor flow and to let the cool breeze blow through. Get lost in a good book on the deck, enjoy a cool drink on the back patio, or if the weather isn’t quite right for a day outdoors, put on a DVD and snuggle up on the couch. There’s plenty of space to park your boat here at Harbour View Haven. Drive the short distance to the boat ramp and head out for a day of fishing, then prep your catch for the BBQ at the fish cleaning station. Whip up a couple of sides in the fully equipped kitchen and dine alfresco on the deck under the shade of the umbrella. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodate up to eight guests here at Harbour View Haven. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite, making it the ideal place for parents to retreat to for a bit of rest and relaxation. Wake in the morning and enjoy a cuppa, staring out at the harbour views as you make a plan for the day. You could start by taking a short stroll to the estuary for a walk along the water, the kids will love the playground and skate park at the end of the road. Why not set up a challenge at the mini golf course, also just a short walk away. If a day at the beach is calling, you’ll be pleased to know the gorgeous sand and sea of Pauanui Beach is just a 3-minute drive, or 15-minute walk, away. When you get home you can wash all the salt and sand off using the outdoor shower! Bring the family, bring the boat, and let Harbour View Haven take care of the rest!

About the location

Just over 2 hours from Auckland, Pauanui is one of the most popular holiday towns in the Coromandel. Pauanui enjoys white sand beaches with a surf life saving club and a number of walking tracks including the Mount Pauanui summit track, which will give you stunning views of the coastline and out to the Mercury Islands. The town itself has many great cafes and shops, as well as a golf course. All of our Pauanui holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
