    “The location is perfect, the view was amazing, master bedroom was by far the best and most maintained room, however, the rest property needs a lot of maintenance and a thorough clean.”

    There are a number of things that were either broken or in disarray/not clean at the property - for instance, a broken deck board on lower level, lower level shower attachments loose, broken knives in the knife holder, ceiling cracks and ceiling stains in the lower double room, dress cushions with stains, drawers in the kitchen completely chaotic, the bbq outside- the knobs were all dirty and the ignition not working. Lights switches in the downstairs double not working, bed was also smaller ...

    There are a number of things that were either broken or in disarray/not clean at the property - for instance, a broken deck board on lower level, lower level shower attachments loose, broken knives in the knife holder, ceiling cracks and ceiling stains in the lower double room, dress cushions with stains, drawers in the kitchen completely chaotic, the bbq outside- the knobs were all dirty and the ignition not working. Lights switches in the downstairs double not working, bed was also smaller than a king size and very uncomfortable. Old blankets by sofas which felt like they needed a good wash or replacing. The TV was absolutely covered in greasy finger prints, and the dust on the TV stand showed it has likely not been cleaned recently. To name a few. Some of this could be forgiven, but when you're spending this amount on the nightly rate, you are expecting the gold standard and it was not. It's made really clear the pool table and spa are off limits and locked up. However the clientele this property would attract (e.g. families) they would be a really welcomed addition that would add to the magic of the stay. As we were leaving on Monday at 9.30am the cleaner showed up, luckily we had already packed up and were in the car to go. But we could have been staying right up to check out at 10am, it was the first bach I have ever had the cleaner show up before check out time at. Overall, we had a lovely weekend though this was due to the location, beach view and access, weather and company, as opposed to the house.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Welcome to Beachfront Paradise, a gorgeous, family-friendly beach house perfectly positioned on the quiet waterfront of Whiritoa Beach. No detail has been forgotten here at Beachfront Paradise, a stunning architectural masterpiece that oozes elegance, style and design-flare. Recycled native timber flooring throughout, along with an external cedar weatherboard, add a sense of warmth and character here. Meanwhile, the high ceilings, spacious living areas and multi-level living make this timeless home the ultimate destination for two families. Beachfront Paradise comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. There are four generous bedrooms, offering plenty of flexibility for all guests. The upstairs master is fitted out with a Super Kind bed, and boasts exclusive access to the outdoor deck area and a private ensuite bathroom. Downstairs, two bedrooms are each fitted out with two sets of children's beds, while the final bedroom is perfect for a couple with its King bed. Once everyone is settled in, the well-appointed kitchen here is an ideal space to whip up a tasty meal for the whole family. This can then be enjoyed at the large indoor dining table, complete with a remarkable outlook over the Coromandel Peninsula. For afternoons when everyone is keen to kick back and enjoy the perks of laid-back coastal living, make the most of the indoor-outdoor flow here by opening up the wall-to-wall sliding glass doors onto the deck, where you can enjoy some sunrise or sunset yoga. Laze out on the comfy bean bags and fire up the BBQ as you enjoy breathtaking panoramic sea views. In the evenings, there is plenty to keep you entertained at Beachfront Paradise. A large Smart TV means you can keep up to date with your favourite shows, and have plenty of movie options to keep the whole family happy. Complimentary WIFI is also set-up so you can remain connected during your stay. When the ocean calls, just walk a few metres from your doorstep and you have direct access to beautiful Whiritoa Beach where you can go on endless beach walks. A whole day could be spent here enjoying the stunning golden sands and ocean waters. When you’re after a convenient bite to eat, the Whiritoa General Store and Cafe is also close by, and can be reached in just over 10 minutes on foot.
