“House was not clean we needed to clean it before we were happy to stay in it.”
There was mould in the fridge, cobwebs and spiders on the walls, dining room table sticky and everywhere covered in dust. When moved the sofa we noticed an old melted chocolate bar under the cushions.
Outside the outdoor furniture was covered in bird poo and we did not have anything to clean it with, we could not sit outside other than on the deck!
TV in the lounge did not work and we needed to swap with the bedroom TV. The bedroom TV did not have a remote control!
No where to hang clothes and the draws had personal belongings in them and no wardrobes anywhere...we lived out of our bags for 4 days!
Considering we paid $1200 for 3 nights stay - very disappointed.

There’s plenty of lawn space here at Tokerau Magic, and if you have a boat, not only is there space to park it, theres an accessible boat ramp on Tokerau beach road.
You’ll have no trouble spending your days down at the water and popping back for lunch! Nearby you’ll also discover the secluded Maitai Bay a 10-minute drive away, the Carrington Golf Club, and Karikari Estate Winery and Restaurant just 5-minutes drive.
If you fancy some good ol' Kiwi takeaways or you need to top up on supplies, the local shops at Whatuwhiwhi are just a three-minute trip in the car.
