Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
This classic, sunny, lakefront bach on the shores of Lake Taupo will relax and delight you. Welcome to Lakeside Escape! Relax on the north-facing deck as the sun sets over the lake. Launch the boat for trout from the adjacent Motuoapa Marina, or take a paddle in a kayak. This two-bedroom, one-bathroom holiday home sleeps up to six people in comfort in the rear dwelling of this fully fenced property. Each bedroom features oil heaters to keep warm. Amenities include a basic kitchen, washing machine, BBQ, and three kayaks with six lifejackets of various sizes. For entertainment, there is a television, DVD player, surround sound system, and a selection of board games in the second bedroom. There is plenty of roadside parking, as well as space via the shared driveway for off-street parking and a boat up to 7m in length. Located just off state highway one in the lakeside settlement of Motuoapa, 10 minutes drive to Turangi, your accommodation provides a peaceful and convenient base to explore this world-famous lake and trout fishing region, just north of Tongariro National Park. About the location
Motuoapa is a lakeshore settlement located on the southern side of Lake Taupo. The area is great for holidays year-round, whether you're after an adventure or a bit of peace and quiet.
