    “Great location, good sized deck, Kitchen, and living areas, beds are comfy, it was great the linen and towels are provided.”

    Things that let it down was the cleanliness inside, lots of cobwebs, dead bird on the deck and the rubbish bin on the kitchen smelled bad. Would be great to have a dishwasher .

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Welcome to Omori Magic! From your spacious deck at this Omori accommodation you can catch glimpses of the lake, providing a beautiful backdrop to long summer evenings grazing on a BBQ feast, or your morning espresso style coffee fresh from the machine in your well-equipped kitchen. The open-plan living space at Omori Magic is furnished for comfort and simplicity, making the view out the sliding glass doors the hero of the room. Make yourself at home on the comfy couch, with a log burner on hand for toasty warmth in the winter. A TV with Freeview is there for entertainment, or why not gather around the bar style table for a drink and a bite. Three bedrooms here at Omori Magic are all on the first floor and offer versatile configurations for your group. There is also a bonus loft space if you find you need a bit of extra room to spread out. Two bathrooms and a full laundry complete the setup for your stay. Omori is a charming town on the edge of Lake Taupo where you can truly enjoy a classic Kiwi getaway. Spend your days out on the water in the boat, or why not try your hand at fly-fishing in the nearby Tongariro River. Omori Magic is just a five minute walk from the lake, and there’s plenty of space for you to store your gear and even park the boat at your home away from home. Head out for a stroll on one of the walks in the area, or there are some great mountain bike trails for all levels within half an hours drive of Omori. To hit the slopes, Whakapapa is only a 40 minute drive away, and to soak your muscles at the end of the day why not check out the Tokaanu Thermal pools just 11-minutes drive from home. When you need to nip out for supplies or a quick bite, the Omori Store and Snappy’s Takeaways are only 500m away. But if you need something a little more, you can reach Turangi by car in 15 minutes. Warm, welcoming, and with lake views, Omori Magic awaits!

All guests are encouraged to use the handrail when accessing the internal stairs at this property as they are quite steep and narrow.

As there is a retaining wall without a barrier and a drop to the driveway, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.

About the location

Located on the Southern end of Lake Taupo, Omori is a more secluded area around the lake. There's plenty of native bush and bushwalks to do here, as well as water-based activities on the lake such as kayaking, swimming, boating and water skiing. Because the area stretches over a hill, most of the holiday homes have a great view of the lake. All of our Omori holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
