Highlights were comfortable beds and great shower. Wi-fi provided was an appreciated bonus. Will definitely stay again - 10 minutes to race track and less than 10 to town. Brand new supermarket 5 minutes away made for a really lovely stay.

Lakeside Haven provides three well-appointed bedrooms, sleeping up to five guests. A heat transfer system will ensure year-round warmth, while two bedrooms each offer queen-size beds and the third enjoys a king-single. A fresh, functional bathroom, separate toilet and laundry with a washing machine complete this convenient set-up. Situated down a driveway and surrounded by trees and birdlife, you'll appreciate off-street. A lockable storage shed offers two bikes and a kayak for use. This Wharewaka location means youâre within a five-minute stroll to the lakefront, walking tracks and Four Mile Bay. Situated on the southern end of Taupo, The Landing family entertainment and Kokomea Village shopping centre are both a three-minute drive away, while Taupoâs bustling town centre is just 10 minutes by car. About the location
Just an 8 minute drive around the lake from Taupo Central, Wharewaka is a great base for a relaxing or adventure-packed holiday. It's out of the hustle and bustle of the centre, but still close to many of the bucket-list activities Taupo has to offer such as going out on the lake, visiting Huka Falls or even making the trek along the Tongariro Crossing.
