    “We had a fabulous stay in your gorgeous home!”

    It was so well suited to our group as the oldies had space to get away when they needed it. We had a little trouble with getting the BBQ up to temperature but not sure why that was? Thanks for letting us stay:-)

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Take your pick of the outdoor lounge suite and bean bags or the alfresco dining area to enjoy fabulous open-air living. Fire up the BBQ and effortlessly prepare your fresh catch, with an impressive kitchen that opens to the BBQ area and outdoor kitchen sink. You'll have no trouble setting just the right temperature whatever the season, thanks to an efficient heat pump and wood burning fireplace. If a day indoors is on the cards, prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen and stay entertained reading, playing board games, or watching the TV with Freeview. Downstairs here at Kuratau Tree Top Views you'll find a rumpus room and three bedrooms. This is a perfect place for the kids to make their own, leaving upstairs as a tranquil space for the adults on holiday. This fabulous Kuratau holiday home sleeps up to 11 guests across 5 bedrooms. A full laundry and two and half bathrooms, including an ensuite with spa bath, complete the setup for your stay. While in Kuratau spend your days out on the lake. There are kayaks and lifejackets available for you to use, plenty of easy boat parking, and the ramp is right next door! A children’s playground on the lakefront is a great place for the kids to let loose and burn some energy, or why not walk the tracks within the ancient Pureora Forest. The views are well worth the trek! If you fancy a bite to eat out, why not visit the Floating Rock Cafe for a delicious wood-fired pizza and locally sourced wine. Or if you are looking for some retail therapy, Taupo is an hour's drive away. Fancy a bit of an adventure? About the location

On the opposite side of the lake to Taupo, Kuratau is a small peaceful town with plenty of outdoor activities on offer. Spend the day out on the water with kayaks, boats and water skis, or go fly fishing for rainbow trout in the Tongariro River. Being further away from the bustle of Taupo, it's also an ideal location for a relaxing holiday to get away from it all. All of our Kuratau holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
