Wapiti is a great place to stay in Turangi. We stayed for a week and hope to be back. The house is set back in a very quiet, safe, private area. It is warm and dry, with lots of room to spread out and relax. On arrival the bach was spotlessly clean, and the rooms have everything you could ask for, including a great sunny deck off the lounge. It is walkable to the shops/cafes but we drove to be honest. There is a nice walk close by to the river and swing bridge with plenty of fishing! All in all an awesome place to stay, especially as this was our first time in Turangi.

The house was great to stay in, double glazing meant it was warm & quiet, plenty of parking for 2 cars & a boat, external shed was great for drying out water skiing gear. Overall a great stay and at a good/realistic price....unlike some of the other places on the market :-) Definitely recommend to others!
