“Great place, good value.”

House was clean, tidy and warm. Kids loved the upstairs area with beds/tv Straight across the road from a park. Nice, quiet safe area to stay. Will book again. Thank you

“The house itself is great however there were a couple of issues.”

The lawn was so long that the back yard felt unusable to sit out in and relax which was really disappointing. The large couch smelt very strongly of dog which meant we could not sit on it. The vacuum also had a very strong dog smell which meant every time we vacuumed the whole house smelt of dog. It’s such a shame when we paid a substantial amount to stay here for 3 nights.

“We stayed at Puna Rise for four nights and overall enjoyed our stay.”

The location is great with supermarket up the road and the lake not far away. The house is comfortable and has all of the general requirements. A major downside is that the large corner sofa in the lounge smelt strongly of “dog” along with the cushions. We could not sit on it. It does not seem to be pet free.

“This house was warm and very cosy.”

It made a difference with the oil heaters that the owners supplied to keep the bedrooms warm. The queen bed is not the best as the mattress was to hard and needs either a different mattress or a topper as it caused some back issues with the discomfort. The cleanliness was also a bit erratic as there where old food spots around the kitchen and the master bedroom was quite dusty and we had to clean these when we got there. However in saying that the house was definitely big enough to accommodate the 7 of us comfortably. It's a great location for the kids with the park straight across the road.

“Lovely home, just cold in the winter without heaters in the rooms as there is no HRV system within the house so the heat pump does not transfer heat to the bedrooms.”

Oil heaters for bedrooms, none in house, called Bach care 5-7 times, whom of which had very poor service and was not very helpful, eventually they sourced heaters and the owner dropped them off the next day in the afternoon, after sleeping in a room that was 10-13 degrees. Not the best start to our holiday.

“We loved everything about our stay at Puna Rise and will definitely be back again.”

Just a coupe things missing in my opinion was an outdoor table and BBQ for outdoor entertaining as the flow from kitchen/dining works perfectly following in to the backyard area! Just a shame the outdoor space wasn't able to be fully utilised! But other than that, it was pretty near perfect!!!!
