    “This batch is in a fantastic location, however, the batch is very dirty, mouse, droppings, cobwebs everywhere, personal items of the owner everywhere which made you feel as if you were intruding, we were given the wrong code to get into the house.”

    The element on the cooktop blew up the first night we tried to use it, dirty dishes everywhere. Couldn’t sleep in some rooms due to the high dust smell in this old batch, very bad for my daughter who has asthma. It is totally worth coming to Anakiwa but sorry not worth the money to stay in this batch.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

All guests are encouraged to use the handrail when accessing the stairs as they are quite steep.

As the property has unfenced access to the water, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

While the property welcomes pets, it isn't fully fenced and there is a native bird population in the area so pet owners need to keep an eye on their pets at all times.

Please be aware the sleepout and upstairs bedroom at this property are accessed externally and the bathroom is inside the main dwelling.

Please note that the bunk beds are not suitable for adults.

Located just west of Picton in the Marlborough Sounds region, Ngakuta Bay enjoys a prime position to enjoy the stunning scenery of the area. From here, you're just a 15 minute drive into Picton for shopping and boat tours of the Sounds. Ngakuta Bay is also positioned next to Whenuanui Bay Scenic Reserve, where you'll find a number of hiking and biking tracks as well as easy access to the famous Queen Charlotte Track. All of our Ngakuta Bay holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
